Our Story

Engen Ghana Limited (EGL) is an energy company focusing on the downstream refined petroleum products markets and related businesses. We commenced operations in Ghana in March 1998 and has subsequently enjoyed steady growth in the Retail and Commercial sectors. EGL is a 100% subsidiary of Mocoh Ghana Limited. The Mocoh Group, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, has been operating in Africa for 21 years and is actively involved in the trading, logistics and distribution of petroleum products across the continent.

Dynamism

The constant change and evolution experienced in the oil and gas industry has made it necessary for EGL to find innovative ways to meet the times and seasons that we find ourselves. Over the past 25 years, we’ve adapted to remain competitive. Automation has been at the center of our technological advancements to optimize operations and reduce costs. Products such as the Engen 1-Card which offer our customers a reliable and safe cashless payment system have augmented our customer experience. We have also differentiated ourselves from our peers by introducing products and services at competitive prices that meet the needs and price points of our customers in these uncertain times.
