As part of the activities commemorating our 25th Anniversary Celebrations, our team visited the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre, for the Operation Smile Ghana Nutrition Clinic on 20th July 2023. Team members were afforded the privilege of interacting with pre- and post-surgery patients and their families. Our hearts were overjoyed to witness the confident smiles of children positively impacted by the life-changing gift of surgery offered by Operation Smile Ghana (OSG).

In her remarks, our Corporate Communications Manager, Georgette Quarmyne stated that at EGL we believe every child deserves a chance to smile and live a healthy life. As such our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goes beyond writing cheques. By directly engaging with the beneficiaries of our philanthropy, we aim to raise awareness of cleft palate conditions in our communities and strengthen the collaboration between charitable organizations like OSG and corporate Ghana. She also commended OSG’s commitment to free surgeries and after-care for children with cleft lips and palates.
Since 2014, EGL has fuelled the OSG buses that convey patients nationwide to determined surgery centres. Together, Engen Ghana Limited and Operation Smile Ghana will continue to create smiles. By aligning our corporate prowess with a higher purpose, the well-being of our communities will continue to be one of our top-most priorities.
