Leaders of the Swiss business community in Ghana met with representatives of the Klik Foundation in Accra this week. Engen Ghana’s MD Brent Nartey was among them.
During the meeting with Klik Brent shared Engen Ghana’s vision for a greener, lower-carbon future, including the recently launched plastic recycling project and the company’s plans to install solar panels at all its service stations, supplying surplus energy to local communities and to power electric mobility.
“It was a great pleasure to meet the Klik team and to share our vision to evolve our service stations into green community hubs,” said Brent. “There is still some way to go before carbon offsets commence under the bilateral agreement, but Engen Ghana is well placed to contribute to the agreement’s goals for CO2 emission reductions.”
